I was recommended TBS by a buddy of mine and I have to say I was really pleased with the service. Great attention to detail, my barber Jason was friendly and easy to talk to, helpful with styling and choice of cut, plus the tunes they play are FANTASTIC. It took every ounce of me not to burst out and sing along to some Tom Jones. I’ve been getting great compliments on my haircut and it’s all thanks to Texas Barber Service!
Jason has been my barber for 2-years straight and he’s never disappointed. He’s friendly, funny, talented and professional. He listens to your request, makes sure he understands what you’re looking for, and produces a perfect cut in 30 minutes or less.
Texas Barber Service offers classic barbershop vibes with a modern Austin feel. There’s always great music playing, an inviting atmosphere, beautiful natural lighting, funky artwork, reading/games/candy, and plenty of parking.
Jason has some really cool and unique plans for this barbershop and I’m excited to watch them unfold!
Really great barber shop. Jason has been cutting my hair for years and always does a stellar job. You can call in and make reservations or walk in, and all of the barbers take great pride in their work. They have some good hair products on sale as well. Highly recommended, I’ll keep coming back.
Went here for a crucial haircut before a big show. My man Geoff got me in right on time, gave me a super clean cut, and even hit me with all the best BBQ spots outdoor swimming holes and bars to visit. I was in a tight situation and they hooked me up perfect so I’ll always appreciate them. Good people Great service!
First time there. Appreciated the greetings from Jason, one of the barbers. I didn’t have an appointment, which is highly recommended, but they were able to get me in for a cut 30 minutes later. That wasn’t bad. I can’t wait to go back and try one of the other barbers to see which one gives me the best cut.

I came in with a head full of hair and threw my barber a hair style that we both didnt really know was gonna turn out and he absolutely did an amazing job! Best haircut ive had.
